The service is free for all residents of Casselman and the Nation Municipality. Non residents can become members by paying an annual subscription fee of $40.00 per person or $50.00 for a family card.
A proof of identification is required to join the library. All users fill out an application form to subscribe. Users under 16 years of age require the signature and proper id from a parent or tutor. You must show your membership card at each visit in order to be able to borrow material.
A $2.00 fee will be asked to replace a lost or damaged card.
LOANS
Maximum of 5 books and one movie per person. You can only borrow 2 books on the same subject.
Maximum time of loan:
Books can be borrowed for 3 weeks, renewable once (except for new material) and movies for a week (non-renewable). You can renew by phone.
LATE FEES
Books: .15¢ per book per day.
to a maximum of $7.00
Movies: $1.00 per movie per day to a maximum of $7.00
No documents can be borrowed until all outstanding fines have been paid.
Lost or damaged material has to be replaced or reimbursed.
