The Citizen Recognition Program highlights the volunteer work of residents and their commitment to our community and/or brings more influence to the Municipality of Casselman. 

A nomination may be submitted by an organization or an individual.

A nomination evaluation committee will use the following criteria to award the medallion.

• The person can be originally from Casselman or a current resident of the Municipality of Casselman. 

• The nominee must have made an exceptional contribution to the community beyond a simple act of kindness or service that includes identifiable measures to make the Municipality of Casselman a better place to live, work and raise a family.

• The nominee has distinguished themselves in one of the following areas:

o Arts and Culture

o Community Service / Volunteering (more than 10 years)

o Bravery

o Economic Development

o Education

o Environment

o Public Health

o Innovation

o Leadership

o Social Development

o Sports

o Civic Values
