📢 Dog Licensing – New Online Process

The Municipality of Casselman is launching a new online system for dog license applications. The previous online form has now been removed and replaced with direct access to the CityWide Portal

This new process provides: 

  • a simplified application system; 

  • a permanent dog tag (no more yearly replacements);

  • automatic renewals for property owners. 

Permanent Dog Tags

Casselman now issues permanent dog tags. 
Once you receive your tag, you keep the same number every year. 

How to Apply 

All applications must be submitted online through the CityWide Client Portal

New Registrations - Procedure

 

1.Create your Citywide account 

1. Log in to your CityWide account. 

2. Select Licences from the Dashboard. 

3. Click New Application. 

4. Choose Dog License as the application type. 

5. Enter the required information about your dog. 

6. Submit the application. 

You will receive a confirmation email once your request is received.

Renewals

Property Owners 
  • Renewals are automatic. 

  • The fee is added to your yearly tax bill. 

  • No action is required in CityWide after the first registration. 

Tenants 

Tenants must renew every year through CityWide: 

1. Log in to your account

2. Open your existing dog license file 

3. Click Request Renewal 

4. Review and submit your renewal 

5. Follow instructions for payment

Lost and Found Dogs

If you have found a dog or lost your dog, please call the By-law Officer at 613-764-3139, extension 243. If the found animal is wearing a tag, we will attempt to contact the owner so they can retrieve their dog.
