Dog licenses

Dog owners must purchase a license for each dog and ensure that the animals wear their tags. A dog license is valid for one year, from January 1 to December 31. You must renew the license each year before March 31. Late renewals are more expensive. There is a limit of three dogs per address.

See the scheduled of fee renewal below. After you've completed the form, please call 613-764-3139 ext 209 to arrange payment.

The dog tag helps identify your pet if it gets lost and will assist you in recovering it. You can receive a fine of $155 for each unlicensed dog.
