Low Water Advisory – Level 3 (Severe)

South Nation Conservation is issuing a Low Water Advisory – Level 3, indicating a significant water shortage in the region.

Surface and groundwater supplies are very low. Recent precipitation is less than 20% of normal. Several rivers are dry.

Immediate Actions:

All users (residents, businesses, farmers, municipalities) must reduce their water consumption and cease all non-essential uses, especially outdoor water, until the situation improves.

The water ban regulation will be strictly enforced through by-law 2018-024. We remind users that a complete ban on outdoor water use is in effect since August 12, 2025. It is still possible to water your garden and flowers with a hand-held watering can.
